Texas History Days in Salado

Free, some events may require a fee
The history of the Village of Salado comes alive the second weekend of June with a speech by Sam Houston, demonstrations and exhibits. There will be unique exhibits showcasing Salado’s historical past. There will be a “Homemade Ice Cream Freeze Off, a western-based rendition of Shakespeare’s play, “A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream,” at the Tablerock Amphitheater, classes on beginning and advanced genealogy, tours of Salado’s 19 national registered historic sites and many other pioneer demonstrations and exhibits. Vendors will sell handmade and pioneer products.
