The 1st Cavalry Division’s Horse Cavalry Detachment arrives onto the field in a formation for the weekly mounted demonstration.

The troopers and their horses round a corner during the demonstration.

The detachment’s wagon team joins the fun at the demonstration, which is held at 10 a.m. every Thursday (weather permitting).

A trooper uses his skills with a saber to slice through a pumpkin as he races by on horseback.
